Second Listening Test

The test will consist of five short exerpts taken from the following works:

- Charles Ives - Concord Sonata (be prepared to identify individual movements)
- Charles Ives - Symphony No. 4 (be prepared to identify individual movements)
- Edgard Varese - Density 21.5
- Edgard Varese - Ionization
- Edgard Varese - Poeme electronique (recording only)
- Arnold Schoenberg - Pierrot lunaire (be prepared to identify individual movements)
- Arnold Schoenberg - Variations for Orchestra
For a most effective listening, please follow the music with the score
whenever available. You will be responsible for the entire works
(all movements) listed above, not just their beginning...
